John is indeed an American Hero.

To many people take for granted the freedoms we as Americans have. It is soldiers like your brother who remind me every day that freedom is not free, it’s earned!

I thank your brother and all men and women of the American Armed Forces.

I am proud to announce that just yesterday my 8 year old son had to write a paper on what he’s thankful for (for thanksgiving). Below is what he wrote, with no input from us;

“I am most thankful for my family and friends. I am also thankful for the police, firefighters, Marines, Navy, Dr’s and the Military for saving and protecting our people and our country. I’m thankful for holidays and school but most of all I am thankful for where I live, America!”

I felt really proud of hearing stories like yours. Just to know that in this world there are still people like your brother who was able to give his life and defends the interests of his country just with the purpose of reaching his family’s and other people’s dreams without asking anything in exchange.
I am not from the U:S:A , but I think that people like your brother must remain in our minds and hearts as a sign that the sacrifice your brother made was worthy.

Becca your story was very touching because I had never thought about Iraq before but after i watched your video I relized that your brother is a true hero.
