The last child is 18yrs old now I have 10 1/2 grandkids I love them more then words can say. Me and my Husband just had our 20th wedding anniversary nov 18, 2009. Me coming up in 4 different homes, I wish that I had a role model like you and someone to take me in and keep me in one spot while my mom tried her best to do things for my family of 11 from a distance. We are Australians living in Sydney, we have seen your story several times and each time we turn up the volume and watch in awe at your demeanour, your obvious social ethic, family ethic , work ethic and positive determination for the future.
What you did in guiding your brood of nine on the path to education, self-reliance and inevitaly successfull lives will come back to you a thousand fold as you become the respected matriarch, surrounded by children, grand-children and great-grand-children who will ALL owe you what they had tthe opportunity to become.

Not sitting around complaining, not waiting for handout, you took more kids then you all ready had, raised them together and showed them to believe in american dream and they can have what ever they want. Just wanted to say I saw your story on Fox News and think it is a great inspirational story. If this country had more people like you and your husband it would be a better country!
In an age when many kids are left to be raised by one parent, usually a single mom, to see a story of a couple sacrificing to make sure some kids are brought up in a loving home was a great thing to see!
