Hi My name is Geoff Ritchie. You may have seen my birthmark story on the discovery channel and though I enjoyed the experience of being taped I was very disappointed to have that be the reason to be known. Though I have grown up that way that is life and I move on. As far as the 9/11 thing goes I saw that happen from A window in Jersey on a vacation. I was about to head down there and was protected by the hand of God. It was very disappointing to me to see that someone could hate the United States that much. I think it has to do with our Christian heritage and the Muslims HATE that. It is too bad that that is the case. It all goes back to a story in Christs Holy Word where to brothers fought and one took Israel’s Side namely Jacob, The other took this side. It is found in the Bible in Genesis 27.

Thank you for your story. I am so happy, and fortunate to live in this country. 9/11 made me much more patriotic. I wish I hadn’t gone through this period of history to make me become this way.

Ken,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on 9/11 and how you reacted that day.
I am especially struck by your statement of “not thinking about flying the American flag.”
Boy, that GOT to me!
I served in the US Navy 4 years (in the 70′s) and I am very patriotic, but I’ve never taken the time to raise a flag outside my home. That’s gonna change NOW.
