We were actually fascinated together with your web site. We merely published this web site to Stumbleupon.
Wayne, the ones we lost have not been forgotten, not passed over. We remember always!
“THANK YOU” SEEMS NOT ENOUGH FOR ALL YOU GO THROUGH THAT WE ARE NOT EVEN AWARE OF. BUT JUST KNOW THAT EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU ARE OUR HEROS. WE PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES EVERYDAY. WE HAVE PEOPLE IN OFFICE NOW THAT ARE THREATNING TO TAKE AWAY OUR FREEDOM THAT YOU AND ALL OF THE OTHERS BEFORE YOU HAVE FOUGHT FOR AND FIGHT FOR NOW TO KEEP. GOD IS ON OUR SIDE AND WE WILL OVERCOME THESE ATTACKERS HERE AT HOME ALSO. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Freedom is what makes America strong and beautiful. I’m so touched by all men and women in unform to protect this precious value of freedom. Compared to these wonderful people, I feel so small and useless. However, I know what I can do for these people. I’ll cherish what they are trying to protect and always stand strong to support them. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for all you do. May God always bless you and keep you in his loving care!
THANK YOU
We pray that we can keep this AMERICA the way you men fought for it.

Wayne Hosmer THANK YOU for your service. AND thank you to every one who has and will serve this great country. I have a lot of family members who have served this great country and a lot who are still serving this great country. Every one who serves weather in uniform or related and holding down the home front needs a great big THANK YOU. I am very honored to be among the people here that say thank you and those who will not say thank you— go serve your time then come back and we’ll talk.
i will never ever forget any of you. i pray for all of you overseas and back home and the ones that are our new angels. may god always bless you all. i have a nephew that is leaving aug 17 2009 for boot camp in the marines. please pray for him and all of our boys and ladies.
God Bless you and welcome home, we love and appreciate you and all of our military past and present. You and people like you have kept this great country free. God Bless America and our troops.
I am the mother of three soldiers. I thank you so much for your dedication, sacrifice and protection. Too many forget about what freedom costs. My sons have and are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. I can only imagine what you went through. I know the things my sons tell me. May God bless you, your family and all who serve and have served.
Brother I feel your pain. Every second of my life now since coming back I think of those that have made the ultimate sacrifice and honestly I wish it would have been me. A few of those names are closer to me than family and that is a bond few understand.
My best way of healing now is to go out an be the very best that I can be to honor their sacrifice. I wish they had Memorial Day before election day so people would think about those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice before they vote.
As a retired vet I feel your pain, agony and pride. My son just deployed to OIF and is carrying on the tradition of our military. THANK YOU for your selfless service. You are appreciated and admired by so many.
All the Way!
THANKS, to each of you who shared YOUR Story. Thank you, for your Service to this Great Nation. I salute each of you.
Thanks is not enough it seems. but thank you all for serving the country and protecting me and my family and our freedoms.
For those who serve and protect our freedom,
For those who support and respect the protectors,
For the fallen who have given their lives for all of us,
Thank you and God Bless each and every one of you.
Wayne–The words “thanks you” cannot convey the feelings in my heart to you and all of the other honorable men and women for your service. I am so grateful for you and the thousands of men and women and their families who do the hard work to keep me and my family safe.
The fallen are never forgotten—they are remembered in our freedoms that all share today. Each time you see a flag—remember them and the cause they died for—and spread the word. We need to remember what a great country we have because of our military.
Freedom isn’t free—as my son told me prior to a deployment when I complained about the people who were protesting, “Mom, that’s why we go…so they have the right to carry their signs and to speak their minds”.
May we always remember this grateness with love and respect.
All I can say is one word THANKS
I am a retired vet and am proud of it. I served in Korea and Vietnam and I feel for our guys who are doing a great job fighting for us. The CRAZEYS in DC are out of touch with us common folks but we will prevail despite Obama and his bunch in Congress. Stick together America. We will get our country back.
Thank You for Your Service Wayne, and Welcome Home.
You said it correctly, “Freedom is not free”. Thank you for your service to our country.
I am a former Vietnam Era Vet who has seen our country not respect the military and when I see those who want to speak of their appreciation of the military , I want to salute you and say
Thank you!!
Thank you for the sacrifice you have made for our country. My Dad served in the European Theatre during WWII. I watched countless WWII movies with him growing up in the 60’s. Though he was very reluctant to talk about his experiences in the war, his patriotism was passed on to me. I was taught to respect my country, the flag, the military and all that America stands for. I lost him in 1987, and I think he would be very sad and angry at the way citizens that take advantage of the freedoms and opportunities afforded them in the US, disparage it. I don’t know if WWII were to happen today that we would be victorious, as my Dad’s generation was. Too many demand all that America has to give, but don’t have the will to defend it. We need to start teaching our children and grandchildren our history as a country, and why we are so different than any other in the world, and as my Dad did for me, teach them to be patriots with love and respect for America. If we don’t succeed in doing so, sadly, it’s future is in question.
Dear Wayne,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service to our Country and your dedication and sacrifice for ME. As a soldiers’ angel, I have come to know so many of you, and your families, and you touched me deeply. If only more Americans could know just what you did, and are doing, for them, there would be such a groundswell of appreciation for all of you returning and all the Veterans of all the Wars. You put a ‘face ‘ on it ,and from this lady, you are loved and appreciated. May America stand up for you as you have for her.
You’re a Hero-God Bless you.
Wayne bless you for your service to our wonderful country! Yes I am a vet and very proud of it. I ws lucky and served in peace time. I have a prayer in my heart always for the men and women who serve our great nation. I fly both the American flag and the POW/MIA at my home all the time. I think every American should fly our flag to always let people know how proud they are of our military and country. God Bless.
God Bless you Wayne. I am proud of what the brave men and women in our armed forces do for this country. Thank you, I support you. Never forget, never forget.
Thank you so much for your brave service to this great nation. I pray for the military every day, and know that you will be blessed for your dedication.
Thank you for your service to this great country. These are simple words yet they are extended with great sincerity. You and your compatriots have provided all Americans one thing many others in the world do not have . . . the right to say and believe as they choose. It is with gratitude that you and your brethren as well as those that have served before you that we have the ability to share our thoughts and prayers with you. God bless you all.
My son-in-law is on his second tour, and I admire him so much for doing this, but I have been in awe of any service man or woman who has done the job of defending us. I cannot stand the so called Americans who find fault with them and whatever they do, but they have never served or will serve this wonderful, exceptional country. Somehow they don’t realized that they are able to criticize because they live here in Fr eedom, are they that stupid really.!!!!!
I still cry at the National Anthem, and get chills up my leg. “famous Chris Mathews comment”, but not for the same reason.
Veteran? Yep, and proud of it. My Grandfather, my Dad, my Father-in-law,my Son and me. We have lost family and friends. A cousin piloting a plane in WWI, and Grandad’s friends. More cousins in WWII and Korea, and Dad’s friends. Child hood friends in Vietnam. And now, friends in Afganstan. Listening to Mr. Hosmer tugs at my heart in a way only those who have lost in this way could understand. Mr. Hosmer, I want you to know, you are not alone and your greif is ours as well. I know, the hurt, never goes away, and is deepest in the still of the night, when you are alone. It’s easier for me though when I see the flags flying on Veterans and Memorial days. Then, I know our nation hasn’t forgotten, at least on those days.
Welcome home Soldier. Thanks for your service. America needs men like yourself. I retired from USN in 1981 and with some time in Vietnam, I understand your anxiety and emotions.
Wayne, and all the Men and Women of the US Military,
You have served and are serving the cause of FREEDOM at great sacrifice. I hope our leaders understand the need to take this cause to the caves and hills to reach the fruition of the end of an ideology that seeks to put an end to free people, anywhere and everywhere on earth. Radical Islam by any name must be dealt with, not with a carrot always, but sometimes the sword. You have wielded the sword with a mighty result, when the enemy has had enough of that sword, the carrot that free people of the earth hold can again be offered. But, we cannot sit back and allow their strengths to multiply unchecked. Their ideology thrives on our complacency, 9/11 makes it imperative that we accept their ideology for what it is, a declaration of war.
Thank you all that have served, are serving and will be called on to serve.
I am so proud of the young men and women in the service today. It is so easy for folks to critisize the war and what they are doing over there, but like the old saying goes, “walk a mile in their shoes”.
I served proudly for 21 years in the military, 13 months in Viet Nam, and maybe someday, our story will be told as well. We did what we thought our country wanted us to do and defended our way of life over there. This young man and many other fine folks is also doing just that.
God bless them all.
I am so touched by this young man. He and so many others including my son and daughter-in-law serve with pride, love and with the strength that has built this great nation. Only those in military families understand the dedication and willing hearts of our men and woman . without them we would not have the freedoms that we are blessed with on a daily basis.
